i used to say "isnt jehovah wonderful -he is being especially merciful by delaying the end so more people can come in the truth and be saved" the wtbts representatives have said the same.. problem here is that earths population grows about 20,000 per day (reference needed here) .
not even close to that come into the truth.
With that argument of mercy, God should have destoyed the first couple and a saved a lot more from destruction.
Never could understand why God would tolerate great amounts of suffering to benefit a few, as the jws teach. Maybe he needs to ask the ones who participate in all the suffering if it is worth it?

I understand what you mean by visiting an older home and feeling the energy of those who lived there. Where does all of that energy go? I like to go through historic homes and imagine the people whose lives played out there.
I mentioned a creator because he wound not be living within time. What would that be like? Does he choose to be in a particular slice of time or do all things exist at once for him?

Did you ever wonder why we have receptors in our brain to such substances. If it is a bad thing to use them, why did God create them and create us to get a sense of pleasure from many of them?

I agree that "now" is the only experience we find ourselves in at present. But where are all the slices of time that we experienced in the past? Do they no longer exist or is it that we just cannot access them?
If there is a creator who exists outside of time, just which slice does he occupy? Would he exist in the present moment only? Could it be that all things exist at once in his perception?

Sorry, I had to leave after posting yesterday. What I was thinking about is how we are stuck in the present situation and time. Yet we have been in very different situations in our life which were just as real as the present moment. The future will reveal a changed person who is still me.
Which one of these slices of time is reality? I would say all of them. If we could experience all of them at once, would we transcend time?
